About M. D. Mehta District Science Centre

Shri M. D. Mehta District Science Centre, Dhrol, is an institute managed by Shri M. D. Mehta Education Trust. We are working towards popularizing science and mathematics education among students, teachers and the lay public. Its mandate is to stimulate interest, encourage and expose the principles of science and the scientific method, and also to improve and find innovative methods of science education.

Our Objectives

To conduct the workshop, training programs for developing interest in science in students as well as teachers.
To introduce and spread awareness about science in the community.
To spread the science approach and awareness training of science for rural women.
To spread awareness about the right utilization of natural energy and the preservation of the environment in daily life.
Use of simple and practical education in science in the classroom.

Shri M. D. Mehta District Science Centre, Dhrol is an institute managed by Shri M. D. Mehta Education Trust. The motive of the Trust is to expand the education in society.
Our mission is to be an essential bridge between citizens and science and technology. We inspire people of all ages to explore and understand the world around them, to discover and enjoy science and understand its relevance to their own lives.
